We are committed to donating a combination of money and payroll (our employees’ paid time), equal to a minimum of 25% of our profits, most often to local charities in the markets that we serve. Brian Schoonmaker

Chief Executive Officer

First and foremost, Brian is a father of three and grandfather of one (and counting). Brian has over 25 years of successful entrepreneurial and investment experience. Before his career in pest control, he excelled and set sales records for various companies in a management role. Since starting his career in pest control in 2004, he grew quickly into the Director of Business Development and oversaw sales, customer service, and marketing and oversaw the fastest period of growth in the history of the company. He then left and worked for another company as the Operations Manager in 2010-2011 before taking over the full operations of Capitol Pest at the end of 2011. Having been the CEO of a top 100 pest control company (Capitol Pest), which serviced the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets until it was sold in 2021, and was a consistent company on the Inc Magazine 5,000 fastest growing companies in America, Brian possesses the vision and expertise to grow any company both quickly and profitably. According to Dan Gordon of PCO Bookkeepers, Capitol Pest sold for one of the highest known multiples for a pest control company.

Since selling his pest control company, Brian has focused on learning and investing in commercial real estate, storage, and car wash syndications. He has had much more time to learn and educate himself on tax laws, mergers and acquisitions, different industries that interest him, and anything else business-related that he can listen to or read to be even more effective in the future.
